CarVeto Website Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: 15 September 2026
CarVeto Limited is committed to making its website and vehicle history check service accessible to as many people as possible, including disabled customers and people who use assistive technology.
This statement applies to the CarVeto website at CarVeto.co.uk, including our free vehicle check, paid car history reports, checkout journey, customer account areas and online report pages.
Our Approach to Website Accessibility
We aim to make CarVeto content, forms and vehicle check reports clear, consistent and straightforward to use on mobile phones, tablets and desktop computers.
As we develop and review the website, we consider features including:
- Clear page headings and a logical content structure
- Descriptive links and buttons that explain their purpose
- Plain language and explanations of specialist vehicle-check terminology
- Legible text, appropriate spacing and sufficient colour contrast
- Keyboard access to important controls and website functions
- Labels, instructions and useful error messages for forms
- Alternative text for informative images where appropriate
- Responsive layouts that support different devices, screen sizes and browser zoom settings
- Consistent navigation across the website, checkout and report journey
Our Vehicle History Check Glossary also explains the vehicle data, history markers and technical terms used in CarVeto reports.
Using CarVeto With Assistive Technology
We want customers to be able to navigate the CarVeto website, enter a vehicle registration number, purchase a report and review vehicle history information using common browsers and assistive technologies.
Depending on your device and software, you may be able to improve your experience by:
- Increasing the browser zoom or text size
- Navigating links, buttons and form controls using a keyboard
- Using screen-reader, voice-control or magnification software
- Adjusting the colour, contrast or display settings on your device
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, known as WCAG 2.2, provide the reference framework for our ongoing accessibility work.
This statement does not claim formal conformance with a particular WCAG level across every page, report and customer journey.
Vehicle Reports and Accessible Formats
CarVeto reports can contain tables, vehicle specifications, status markers, timelines, images and information compiled from multiple vehicle-data sources.
We aim to present this information in a logical order and explain significant findings in clear language.
If a page or report is difficult for you to access or understand, contact us and tell us what you need.
Where reasonable, we will help you access the relevant information or provide it in a more suitable format.
Requesting Help or a Reasonable Adjustment
If you cannot use part of the website, complete a vehicle check or access a report, email [email protected] or use our Contact Page.
To help us investigate, please include:
- The page, feature or report you were trying to use
- A description of the accessibility problem
- The device, browser or assistive technology you were using, if known
- The format or adjustment that would help you
- Your CarVeto order reference or vehicle registration number where relevant
Please do not send payment-card information by email or through the contact form.
We will consider reasonable adjustments for disabled customers and respond as soon as reasonably practicable.
Any personal information provided when requesting support will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Improving CarVeto Accessibility
Accessibility is an ongoing process.
We review the website as CarVeto pages, vehicle reports and customer features change, and we use customer feedback to identify areas that need improvement.
If you Check Vehicle Details and notice an accessibility problem that is not described on this page, please contact us so we can investigate it.
